INA-Lunchbreak on supply chain due diligence act part 26
In our next INA Lunchbreak we will deal with the question “How to plan and implement traceability systems – Experiences from practice”.
Together, Pascal Ripplinger and Noëlie Svara, INA experts for digitalization, and Hendrik Jansen, Project Manager Sustainability at Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG, will discuss and share their experiences with us.
Traceability is not a new concept, but it has become increasingly important, especially due to new regulations such as the EUDR or the German Supply Chain Law (LKSG). In this context, traceability is fundamental as it is necessary to collect and provide information about the different steps along the supply chains to ensure, for example, that the risk of deforestation and illegal production associated with the product is as low as possible.
The INA digitalization team has gained extensive experience in the development of the INATrace traceability system in a project context through pilot projects, project preparations and consultations. Pascal Ripplinger and Noëlie Svara will provide insights into project implementation and share lessons learned. They will also provide specific tips for project planning.
Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG is a German chocolate manufacturer based in Waldenbuch, known for its Ritter Sport chocolate brand. Hendrik Jansen will share his experiences from working in the sustainability team and present his experiences in selecting a suitable traceability system.
The one-hour online meeting takes place on the first Friday of the month.
The date is Friday, 01.03.2024 from 12.00–1.00pm CET.
The event will be held in English.
