(Audio only German) In the fourth part of our event series "From the Code to the Agricultural Supply Chain: Putting Due Diligence into Practice", INA answers the question: What role do standards play in the fulfilment of due diligence obligations?

We will examine the extent to which sustainability standards can contribute to compliance with corporate due diligence obligations. We will highlight possible interfaces for companies in the agricultural and food sector as well as potential limitations. We have invited representatives of a standard system and a company to provide exciting impulses and discuss the different perspectives and approaches.

As usual, the one-hour online meeting will take place on the first Friday of the month.

The date is 04.02.2022 from 12:00 to 13:00.

Representatives of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Initiative for Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains (INA), as well as representatives of a standard system and a company will speak.

Moderation: Viola Muster, ConPolicy

The event is aimed at interested stakeholders from the private sector, civil society and politics.

The event is held in German.

We look forward to your participation!
