Online-Meeting: Stakeholder Engagement – Thinking ahead on sustainability and achieving common goals
On September 9, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Global Compact Network Germany will offer practical insights into stakeholder management in the context of corporate sustainability in a Online-Meeting.
The 17 SDGs adopted by the United Nations in 2015 offer a compass for the challenges of the 21st century as a system of global targets. For the achievement of the SDGs an active contribution of the economy is essential, especially since the SDGs offer opportunities for companies to prepare themselves for the future. The innovative strength of Goal 17 explicitly mentions multi-stakeholder partnerships as a core element to achieve the SDGs. For companies, the exchange with stakeholders and affected groups offers a core element to recognize and understand their own impact on people and the environment.
The meeting offers:
- A model to plan and implement your stakeholder engagement strategy
- Success factors for successful stakeholder engagement
- Practical examples from corporate contexts
Target group: The meeting is aimed at employees from CSR, purchasing, PR and HR departments, who deal with the topic of stakeholder engagement in a professional manner.
