Online event: Promoting dietary change for a healthy climate - the role of public procurement in the EU.

This panel discussion will address the importance of funding for food procurement, which helps promote more sustainable and climate-friendly diets.
 

The event is organized by the Healthy Food, Healthy Planet (HFHP) initiative in collaboration with the Climate and Land Use Alliance, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and Climate Focus.  

The discussion is part of the Promoting dietary shifts for a healthy climate series of events and will focus on reorienting public sector funding - towards more sustainable and climate-friendly diets. 
HFHP aims to take another step towards sustainable public food procurement by sharing national experiences and to find out how lessons learned can be used by other member states in greening their public procurement.
