Online nur Kännchen: Digital solutions for more transparency in the coffee supply chain

The coffee sector is facing major challenges: The ongoing price crisis, unsustainable farming systems and the global effects of climate change, to name but a few. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) supports various approaches for more sustainable solutions for the coffee sector. The GIZ coffee team would like to present some of them to you.

In the next session of "Online nur Kännchen" the coffee team would like to give you an insight into an open source traceability solution in the agricultural supply chain for coffee. What exactly is behind it and what does it actually look like? Background, technical possibilities as well as up scaling of this blockchain solution – we would like to give you an introduction, answer your questions and talk about cooperation possibilities.
