Online event: Blockchain for transparent supply chains

What are the challenges for transparent, sustainable supply chains and how can Blockchain solve them? Distributed ledger technologies (DLT) such as blockchain will be presented at the online event "Building Blocks in Dialog".

The eighth event in the "Building Blocks in Dialog" series of events organized by, a joint project of the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU) and the Bundesdeutscher Arbeitskreis für umweltbewusstes Management (B.A.U.M.) e.V., focuses on distributed ledger technologies (DLT) such as blockchain. For this purpose, the opportunities, transformation potentials and challenges of blockchain are considered, especially for transparent supply chains. In addition, blockchains will be considered in a corporate context to provide connecting points for companies and identify new business and action areas.

  • Andrea Burkhardt, Digitalization for Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains at Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on "Digitalization for Sustainable Supply Chains" and the example of INATrace
  • Gunther Walden, CircularTree GmbH on the pilot project CarbonBlock
