In the Caquéta and Meta regions, smallholders make up more than 80% of the producer population. Smallholders seldom generate a living wage, forcing the producer families and their workers to work under poor conditions. The vast majority are struggling to secure or maintain access to (inter)national markets.

In order to help producers of coffee, cocoa and palm oil to access international markets and introduce sustainability standards, the Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains Initiative (INA), in collaboration with SOLIDARIDAD, has developed digital solutions for evaluation, training and technical support.
