Apply now: German Entrepreneurship Award for Development

Is your company involved in a developing or newly industrialized country? In addition to your core business, there is always room for innovative ideas and solutions with which your company contributes to improving living conditions in these countries? Then apply with your specific project for the German Entrepreneurship Award for Development by 16 November 2020!

The prize is awarded in two different categories (Category A: Business for Development, Category B: Innovation for Development) and is endowed with prize money of 30,000 euros each. The prize money will be invested in the prize-winning projects and product ideas and thus provide additional incentives for international activities of the companies. In 2021, Category B applications in particular from companies whose project in a developing or newly industrialized country mitigates the consequences of the Corona crisis are encouraged.

The Carl Duisberg Society e.V. (CDG) awards the prize every two years, next time in the beginning of 2021. The prize will probably be presented by Gerd Müller, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development. Time and place of the award ceremony will be announced.
