The next edition of INA-Lunchbreak will be devoted to the topic: Towards interoperability of digital traceability systems in global agricultural supply chains: The Digital Integration of Agricultural Supply Chains Alliance (DIASCA).

Digital solutions can make a crucial contribution to the fulfilment and documentation of corporate due diligence - be it in terms of complaint mechanisms, the tracing of agricultural products or the support of remedial measures at origin. The market for corresponding digital applications is large and constantly growing, but increasingly the question arises as to the compatibility of different solutions and the possibility of efficient data exchange. In order to meet this structural challenge, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development has launched the "Digital Integration of Agricultural Supply Chains Alliance (DIASCA)". The aim of DIASCA is to agree on common standards for interoperability between digital applications. A roundtable with supply chain actors, technology providers and key strategic partners such as GS1, DIN and COSA will focus on traceability, forest monitoring and farmer income measurement.

As usual, the one-hour online meeting will take place on the first Friday of the month.

The date is 01.07.2022 from 12:00 bis 13:00.

The event will be held in English.

epresentatives of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Initiative for Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains (INA) will speak, as well as representatives of an institute and a company
