02. June 2023

In this INA Lunchbreak we will present "Opportunities and challenges in the implementation of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act".

This lunchbreak will exclusively take place live and will therefore not be recorded.

Since 1 January 2023, the German Supply Chain Due Dilignce Act (LkSG) has been in force for companies with at least 3000 employees and a registered office or branch in Germany. According to the law, the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA), as a downstream authority of the Federal Ministry for Economics Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), is in charge of implementing the law. At the same time, negotiations are taking place at the EU level on an overarching EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), which may go beyond the requirements of the LkSG.

In this lunchbreak, we look forward to a contribution from BAFA that will address the specific requirements for companies under the LkSG.

The one-hour online meeting takes place on the first Friday of the month.

The date is Friday, 02.06.2023 from 12.00 - 13.00pm CET.
