03. June 2022

The OECD and FAO are currently developing an “OECD-FAO Business Handbook on Deforestation, Forest Degradation and Due Diligence in Agricultural Supply Chains“, which will illustrate good practices on due diligence for deforestation-free supply chains. It complements the existing OECD-FAO Guide to Responsible Agricultural Supply Chains with due diligence measures specifically on deforestation and forest degradation. Thereby, it will provide guidance on forest conservation in supply chains for companies active in markets with regulation on deforestation-free supply chains, but also in other markets. The development of the handbook is supported by a multi-stakeholder working group. A public consultation will also be launched in summer 2022.

At the INA lunch break, the OECD and FAO will present the new handbook and Cefetra will exemplify due diligence measures for deforestation-free supply chains.

As usual, the one-hour online meeting will take place on the first Friday of the month.
The date is 01.04.2022 from 12:00 to 13:00. The Event will be held in English.
