In the March edition of our event series "From the legal code to the agricultural supply chain: putting due diligence into practice", we talk about the topic "How can digital traceability contribute to the implementation of due diligence?".

Digital traceability of one's supply chain can contribute significantly to identifying risks, providing customers with information and improving the flow of information within the supply chain. However, digitalisation is not a cure-all for the implementation of due diligence. The availability of data and information along the supply chain and especially at the origin of agricultural products is crucial.

So what are the possibilities and limitations of digital traceability for implementing due diligence? How could digital traceability be integrated into business processes in an efficient way?

We want to discuss these and other questions with you at the event.

As usual, the one-hour online meeting will take place on the first Friday of the month.
The date is 01.04.2022 from 12:00 to 13:00.

Representatives of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Initiative for Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains (INA), as well as representatives of a company will speak.

Moderation: Christian Thorun, ConPolicy

The event is aimed at interested stakeholders from the private sector, civil society and politics
